The Arizona Cardinals will have a new coach for the 2023 NFL Seasonand your star quarterback will have a say in who’s next to steer the ship.
Kliff Kingsbury and Cardinals parted ways Monday after a four-win season, he began the search for the next Arizona coach.
The Cardinals also announced that general manager Steve Keim would be stepping down to focus on his health, prompting a restart in Arizona.

Monday, Arizona Owner Michael Bidwell He spoke to reporters and said he’s already started doing his due diligence to hire his next head coach.
“The search is on for both a general manager and a head coach,” Bidwell said. “We’re going to cast the net far and wide, doing it differently than we’ve done in the past. I’ve already been on the phone setting up interviews and talking to people I respect in the NFL. Getting their input on the best candidates what’s up”.
While the Cardinals have to replace two key members of their leadership, the quarterback position is set, with Kyler Murray signing a five-year extension in the offseason.

Bidwell told reporters that Murray’s opinion will be important in deciding who becomes the next head coach in Arizona.
“We’re in communication and we should talk later today,” Bidwell said of Murray. “We’ve been texting. And whether it’s today or tomorrow, we absolutely want to get input from our leaders, including Kyler. And I’ve already spoken to a number of leaders.”

Murray is rehabbing from a torn ACL he suffered in Week 14 against the New England Patriots.
He underwent successful surgery last week and is not expected to be ready for the start of the 2023 season.
“ACL surgery was successful, thanks for all the love and prayers,” Murray wrote on Twitter. “I appreciate the support and positivity more than I can express, I’ll be back.”
Arizona finished the regular season 4-12, losers of seven straight.
